ABOUT THE SHOW: Celtic Knot, will encompass everything from good tunes to interesting facts you may or may not want to know, ways to get involved in the local community, and just a whole lot of fun.
ABOUT THE HOST: Rob Eberhardy was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and spent his time growing up by going to cultural events and watching fireworks along the shores of Lake Michigan. He attended Northland College in Northern Wisco and, other than sleeping late and drinking way too much coffee, spent a little time on the up-and-coming school radio station. Living in the Flathead Valley for the last 12 years, Rob spends quite of bit of his time with his wife and two girls either in the woods or at events around the Valley. Culture and celebrating differences is important to Rob and he likes to get involved in the community. While Eberhardy is a German surname, his Celtic roots (Scottish, in this case) are on his mother’s side of the family (clan name Bruce) and he likes to share his culture and hopes Celtic Knot will include something enjoyable for everyone. Rob is the director of the Flathead Celtic Festival, was the bass drummer and band manager in the Montana Highlanders Association bagpipe band for over four years, is now well on his way to learning the bagpipes, his daughters are in the Kalispell Irish Dancers, he coordinated a Celtic Gathering at FVCC, has competed in the Highland Games twice, and generally is a wealth of impractical information both Celtic and not. He also likes to brew his own beer and raise/grow his own food, but that’s a topic for another time….
